Understanding Space-2

A sequel to 'Understanding Space-1' , the purpose of this workshop is to develop observational skills related to the environment and its various components, such as light, color, materials, details,  textures.
​
This purpose is achieved through depiction and analysis of environmental components. 
We believe that manual techniques as  are specially instrumental in learning the subtleties of details and materials, through measuring, drawing, coloring. Oil painting was used  as a medium.
This year we chose as our subject the complex system we refer to as the human face, its textures, colors, light, shapes.
