Competition for the New University of Cyprus - Nicosia, Cyprus  (finalist)

In 1994 the UIA launched  an international competition for the project of a new University Campus, to be located on the border of the 'Greek' and the 'Turkish' parts of Cyprus. 

Our proposal envisioned the campus mingling with its surroundings - the adjacent village, the crop fields, the open countryside or the forest. 

The core of the university was designed as clear rectangular space, that would keep its clarity while the university could expand in outer rings. The dorms were designed to blend gradually in the village fabric.
